I do. I sit down to write, and find my mind blank, or an unwillingness to rehash the constant aggravations during the day. I don't know the solution, but I'm leaning toward more fiction and recollections of life experiences.
It's a little strange. Up to a few years ago, my urge to write was occasional and ignored. For some reason, I wrote a small memory piece for a high school class newsletter and was little amazed at the response. After a classmate urged me to write, and LeeAnn asked why I didn't have a blog, I started a blog and the writing bug has become almost an obsession.
I wish I had your skill with short stories.
