In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Better than Firing

Kimmel is a scum-bag, but I wouldn't fire him. I'd fire his handlers, including ABC, Disney, and all their investors. Turn off the television, avoid all Disney endeavors, and watch them squirm in the heat. Will enough do this? Of course not. Few want to miss their favorite television show, and the kids are crying to go to Disney World.

  1. With all the available alternatives I can't believe anyone still watches network TV for anything but the local news.

    1. Even our local news is too many time reported by the slant of the ignorant.

    1. My ex-wife wanted to go to Disney World, so we went, even though my initial thought was Epcot Center was more for adults. She had been to Disneyland when she was an adolescent, and wanted to experience the wonder again....it was a disaster as far as I was concerned. Even in the mid-eighties, the costs were far to high in my opinion, the entire park was a cheesy, crowded waste of time, and I'm sure somebody was laughing their way to the bank.

In one way, my P.T. Barnum maxim describes my feelings about Disney, but considering what a waste of air most of those running the corporation have become, the sooner it's gone the better things will be.

  3. Well, Disney is doing a pretty good job of shooting itself in the foot/feet. I don't watch enough TV to care anymore. Kimmel is one more talking head.

    1. Disney forgot to entertain, understand the majority of their paying audience, and succumbed to the insanity of DEI.
