Texas closed a park in Eagle Pass to everyone, except those authorized and the authorized doesn't include Federal agents. Google Earth shows the park, how close it is to the border, and a street view of the entrance shows a SUV and a checkpoint. Otherwise, this park has been a problem for more than the current situation. According to reports, razor wire was cut by Border Patrol agents to allow illegal invaders to enter.
Now, we'll see how the Feds react to having their toes stepped on. I'm sure the agents are jumping with joy, but their handlers will probably write a check their asses can't cover.
We'll see.
Texas just raised the ante. Now we see if the Feds match, raise or call. I expect the Feds to dispatch massive numbers of heavily armed Fed badgemonkeys or possibly the US Military. But their hold on power and their mentality will NEVER allow anyone to effectively oppose them or their agenda. This has all the ingredients for the opening shots of Civil War 2.0 to occur.
ReplyDeletedepends. if texas holds their ground the doj will take them to court, a crooked judge will rule for usg. the usg will sent swat type feds to texas for show. if texas fails to step aside like a good serf, i suspect that will be our ft. sumpter moment. abbotte has a history of bold moves then caving when the bluff is called. i pray he holds this time, and the rinos in texas grow some balls. they killed a referendum to secede just the other day.
ReplyDeleteIf the sheriff of Maverick County does their job, the Feds can all be removed, locals can become deputies, and the rule of law will demand the illegals are not allowed to stay. I doubt there are more than a handful of locals that accept the chaos created by the ignoring of immigration laws and allowing of an unbridled invasion.
ReplyDeletelord i hope so.
