In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

How About Today?

I think there are many like me that want to see someone facing punishment for their crimes while employed by the U.S. Government, or using tax dollars. Today is a good day to see a news report that the arrests have started. I don't know about you, but I have a feeling that won't happen.

  1. There may be some plausible reasons for that. Just for the record, I agree. Many need to go to jail, several need a ride on Old Sparky... and if I had my way, Joe, Hunter and a few of there pals would be doused in gasoline and set on fire in front of the Whitehouse as a warning to the rest of the cudgels and black hearts.

But... where will they be tried? There are any number of corrupt liberal judges that will not play ball. How much would that cost? How many repubs would get caught up in that dragnet?

There is a hidden game of 'chicken' going on right now too, I suspect. I've seen it played between management and unions during wage disputes. Company equipment gets sabotaged, deliveries and deadlines get blown, and all kinds of mysterious failures start happening in critical company supply and command chains.

Not saying any of that is right... but it has to be something your ruling elite has to take into consideration, maybe...?

    1. There is still a power play, which will mostly be decided by the Supreme Court. In my opinion, Trump has every right to root out those that attempted to destroy him, expose their crimes, and make them pay. I would do the same.

  2. Depends. Trump 47 is not Trump 45. They shot him. That tends to change a man.

  4. I would love to see arrests...en masse. But I'm not holding my breath. We MIGHT see a handful of scapegoats trotted out for show trials....but even that's looking unlikely. The vast majority of the criminals who have been robbing us for decades will get away with it....and be allowed to keep the spoils of their crimes.
