In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Spring has Sprung

As I was checking my phone this morning, while sitting on the porch, I noticed a fine coating of pollen on the screen. The longer I sat, the more accumulated. According to the weather folks, tree pollen is heavy today, and I can testify they're correct. My sinuses agree. Right now, it's mostly oak pollen. The pine pollen will soon appear, and the pond will have a thin coat of yellow on the surface.

    1. We've been in the sixties at night, and low eighties during the day. It's usually either foggy, or low clouds at night. Everything is budding, it's dry with burn bans, and the weekend rain forecast is welcome...as long as severe weather is out of the picture.

    1. It's been around 70 degrees in the morning here for days. It's welcome, but the temperature above 80 degrees in the afternoon is reminding me of the brutal heat of Summer.

    1. I'm not far from the Gulf. From weather reports, all along the coast has had fog for days. We had some about a week ago.

    1. According to weather wizards, we're above average temperatures. Hopefully, that doesn't continue through Summer.
