In Case You've Wondered
My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.
If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com
One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.
I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Piano Guys, Old Folks and Charlie Brown
Every once in awhile, you find something that touches your heart. With me, many of those things involve older people, since you don't have to spend long with them to realize their hearts are still young, they have much to offer and they can lead lonely lives towards the end.

Goes to show you - just because there is snow on the roof doesn't mean the fire in the furnace has gone out! I have been watching some of The Piano Guys videos lately and like them. This one made me smile. Thanks.

DeleteI feel like a kid in the candy store, since I learned how to imbed videos. I am a little concerned, though. What I'm finding as "brand new" will probably be as old hat as Benny Goodman tunes.
Crap. I suddenly realized my reference is as old as dirt.
I'm thinking that there are probably enough of us around who understand and appreciate the old as dirt reference. I'll take the old music over the new any day of the week.
DeleteNo broken hips from the conga line. A good day! Never stop playing, right?
ReplyDeleteYep. At that age, stopping isn't a good thing.
DeleteFinally something that made me smile today. Thanks!

DeleteI was touched by the video. I'm guessing it's due to watching my mother dwindle away and finally pass. She was young at heart to the end.
