In Case You've Wondered
My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.
If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com
One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.
I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

It's Time for Soup
After all the rich foods, heavy desserts, and exposure to whatever ailment found family members after Thanksgiving Day, my wife suggested a vegetable beef soup. I agreed, so that's on the to-do list for this afternoon. I think it will be good, and necessary.

yesterday was spent trying to recuperate after the "Friday night day after Thanksgiving dude family poker game" and the large quantity of beer and junk food consumed in my cousin dr. hirkimer's basement. Felt like a pile of gibblets all day. The wife made me oatmeal this morning. I think soup is in order for later today. Good call!
ReplyDeleteI've been eating leftovers from the huge feast. It was all good, but there's a point it's enough.
DeleteA substantial number of family members complained of flu symptoms the day after Thanksgiving. Hopefully they weren't contagious, but I had the flu shot, so I'm not really worried.
