In Case You've Wondered
My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.
If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com
One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.
I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

I've Decided....
...humans don't exist on the internet. It's all an elaborate ruse. Bots are what's on the internet. If you don't believe that, look at the bottom of the main page and see that one of the most read posts is the one titled "Cantaloupe". I doubt more than three people actually read that post, but for the last three days, it's been the most read, thanks to bots.

They have come out in full force. I've tried once again to remove word verification because everyone hates it, but I has getting hit with the Anon crap links every 20 minutes. It was filling up the inbox that it was nearly impossible to find where real people actually made comments.
ReplyDeleteJust how effective can these stupid bots be for the idiots who start them?
I'm thinking there's money in hits, so the bots search for sites to place a link in the comments. Somebody clicks on the link, and some tiny fraction of a penny is placed in an account.
ReplyDeleteThe bots tirelessly search and the revenue accrues.
I love that cantaloupe post!

I don't even get any attention from bots. What's up with THAT?
ReplyDeleteIf it weren't for the bots, I wouldn't have much traffic at all.
