In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Paula Deen Has Diabetes

Okay. I know this isn't any earth shattering news, but considering how the press is trying to put a hypocritical spin on this, I feel Paula Deen is getting demonized by the narrow minded pinheads we call the mainstream media.

So, if you feel that someone with a probable genetic illness is a hypocrite because they have a skill to prepare wonderful dishes, can capitalize on a television show and you are judging because you can't comprehend the entire matter, then you are a narrow minded pinhead, too.

  1. Being a narrow minded pin head has been an admission requirement at most schools of journalism for the past 30+ years.

  2. Journalism confirms that people are a lot like cattle. A herd of cattle will walk single file in mud to their bellies, when they can step over two feet and walk on dry ground. While cattle have limited reasoning capacity, you'd think humans would be a little more critical with their thinking and not follow those that lead them.

  3. What I don't understand is why these journalist pinheads think Paula Deen's diabetes is anybodies business but her own.

  4. Headline in Yahoo News: "Paula Deen Caught Eating A Cheeseburger"
Really? And the point of that whole article was?

  5. You know that pretty young woman who died recently of a head injury sustain in some extreme snowboarding practice? I don't hear anyone in the media nodding knowingly and smugly saying that her dying was inevitable because of the inherent danger of that sport. Paula Deen's sins are that she likes decadent food (or comfort food, as many call it) and then she has the bad taste to not be skinny on top of it. You hit the nail on the head with this one-- the talking heads are major hypocrites.
