In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

I Know I Haven't Been Writing Much

I do. I sit down to write, and find my mind blank, or an unwillingness to rehash the constant aggravations during the day. I don't know the solution, but I'm leaning toward more fiction and recollections of life experiences.

We shall see.

  1. I wish I had your skill with short stories.

  2. It's a little strange. Up to a few years ago, my urge to write was occasional and ignored. For some reason, I wrote a small memory piece for a high school class newsletter and was little amazed at the response. After a classmate urged me to write, and LeeAnn asked why I didn't have a blog, I started a blog and the writing bug has become almost an obsession.

  3. LeeAnn has that effect on people.

There are times when I think I'm balancing too many plates on too many poles, but I somehow keep typing.
