In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Setting the Stage

Paul Ryan is quitting, so I'm think McConnell is next. After all, when you're a politician, you promise the President, and then quit, so you can look in the mirror, lie about your integrity, and believe you're something more than a lying sack of crap.

  1. good riddance. Unfortunately, McConnell might prove harder to scrape from the bottom of our shoes.

    1. Maybe so, but I have a feeling the budget deal came with strings. If neither is speaker, the deal goes out the window.

  2. One man I highly admire is Bill Bennett. He has always recommended Paul Ryan.
    It colors my opinion.

    1. Politics have changed over the last decade. Honor, integrity, and keeping promises are gone. Ryan isn't suited for this, and it's best for him he leaves while the leaving is good.

  3. I guess no one wants to stick around for the Federal indictments and the Impeachment proceedings. Great theater! Those hidden in the shadows are still in charge like always.

    1. I don't even think they try to hide anymore. They just go on CNN and become famous.
