The Weinstein debacle permanently tarnished Tinseltown. Although this doesn't bother me at all, since I've not been to a new movie in decades, or watched much television, it means many of the nuts-and-bolts of the industry can face financial hardships.
Elsewhere, Isis fighter are dying in the thousands. Locals, having to do something with the bodies, are burying them with bulldozers, avoiding any religious ceremony, and wishing they had a way to allow the wild dogs to eat the bodies, without any health concern. I think they are angry.
California wildfires are destroying the lives of many. Hopefully, the 300 plus missing person reports are inflated by incorrect information. I'll pray for them. I just went through a disaster, and mine had a temperature much lower than the melting point of aluminum.
Obamacare is being removed like removing a tick on a dog, except it's being removed under the direction of committees, involves multiple tools, and I have the feeling this won't turn out well. Removing a tick in this way can lead to all types of infections, infection, and in the worst situations: amputations.
The NFL is vacillating between indecision, and incompetence. Considering the amount of money involved, and the number of fans, this one might be decided by a coin toss. At the pace this is going, some players might have to borrow a coin for the toss. I'm sure they can sell a sports car to pay back the loan.
