In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Buffalo Meat and the First Lady

If I was Native American, I think I might be a little irritated by this article. Supposedly, the First Lady is worried about the health of children in the United States. I'm thinking she should be worried about the depth of her ignorance.

  1. Well, golly gee, Mrs. President - deer meat is even leaner than buffalo! Why doncha arm the Indians and have 'em clear out the prairie rats! And the Indians can be exercising their cultural heritage!

    For the kids, yannow.

Oh, wait - that would be empowering someone rather than having them subservient to your whims. Sorry, got lost in the moment.

  2. Buffalo meat is expensive and I doubt there's enough raised to even make a dent in the amount of food needed for even a small Native American Community. Even if there was, I doubt seriously they'd be concentrating on the food value. I think they'd be selling it to liberal wingdings for a premium price and laughing all the way to the bank.
