In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

The Dark Cloud in the Silver Lining

I know many of the Obama voters are clueless. Also, due to ignorance, many are thinking of how things will become better. What most don't realize is that after January 1, 2013, everyone will have a bigger slice of their paycheck going to Social Security. Another thing: everyone will pay more in income taxes, since the temporary tax cuts prove their temporary status and end.  Otherwise, in a depressed economy, the purchasing power of anyone that works will decrease. To add insult to injury, there will be new penalties for those without health insurance.  The economic shock to the economy will be tremendous.

Now, this may not seem like much to many people, but the outcry will be more substantial than many realize. The result will be a deep feeling of betrayal and a realization that things aren't better. How this plays out will be interesting at best. More than likely, we'll go into recession, if not depression. Considering the amount of national debt, the devaluation of the dollar will continue and the added decrease in spending power of a paycheck will lead to some very pissed off people.

Hold on children, the ride may get bumpy. For those that voted for this madness, there is no forgiveness. The changes placed in motion may lead to things that you deserve. I'll enjoy your misery.

  1. The sad part is, we'll have to share the misery alongside the rest of them.

  2. Yep, but I'm tough. They're wimps, will beg for my help and they'll pay dearly. It's now to the point where the strong not only survive, they flourish.
