In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Weary

We're back on the highway, which means a lot of long, strange hours. Long story short: I'm at around 45 hours and have at least 12 more before the weekend, with heat, humidity and the constant problem of dealing with traffic and the general problems of repairing the highway.

I'm tired. To make matters worse, the weariness is accentuated by my anger at the piss-ant, puss-gut, no-ass pieces of puke shit we call the "Government". They don't deserve any respect and their arrogance is not only intolerable, it's an insulting dismissal of what made this country the greatest nation on the face of the Earth.

Needless to say, things will change. I don't feel I'm alone with my feelings.

  1. In this heat, plodding down the highway on hot asphalt. Yes, and there are NO MEN wanting to take your job away from you.

One thing happened today that brought a huge smile to my face: Florida refused to have a special meeting to discuss changing the Stand Your Ground law! Then dah people who had been sitting down eating and laughing while having a "protest", arose from the government supplied chairs and mosied out the door to the bus waiting to take them elsewhere.

    1. They were probably paid hacks for some unions or federal agency. Screw 'em. People are beginning to ignore the entire stinking lot and it's about time.

  2. Oh you're not alone in how you feel about the Gov'ment. I just simply can't talk about it because I become incoherent with rage whenever I try.

    1. What they do doesn't anger me as much as how they ignore the majority of the citizens. That enough should lead to tar, feathers and huge mobs of loud people.
