In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Warning Labels

In large cranes, there are warning labels all over the machine. They warn of pinch points, places to not step, overhead electrical hazards and the most important: The labels that warn those sitting in the seat to not attempt to operate the crane without training and experience.

We need that label for the desk in the White House. We need other labels all over the podiums of those attempting to convince us they're the best choice for President.

The last few days have convinced me we have a feckless, inexperienced, dangerous man in the White House and his foolishness is more dangerous than the most corrupt of dictators. That's a very uncomfortable thought. The train is racing out of control, and the engineer is thinking how wonderful it is to blow the horn.

  1. I have been expecting to see him do something reckless and stupid over this holiday weekend. He seems to like to sign executive orders while the general population is distracted. He says that he will wait to present his plan for Syria to Congress, but I wonder if his arrogance and ego will allow him wait until Congress reconvenes.

    1. His new reaction is a political move. With no backing, the realization his actions would lead to even more diminishing of his popularity, and the guarantee something would stick to him that smelled rotten, he took the easy path - or so he thinks.

I'm thinking even the most loyal of his fans are now wondering about what they idolize.

    2. Excellent post. "blow the horn". ROFL.
And of course, you're right, he's looking for cover.
But the most loyal fans still think he's the messiah.

    3. He'll say had time to cool down, because he was so angry. We're supposed to believe that...like believing he's something more than a cheap work merchant.

  2. +1 on Ed. Even the Dem's are finally starting to back away from him. He destroys everything he touches.

    1. They created him. May he touch them until they're all gone.

  3. It would be even better to return the president to being the weak executive that he was meant to be and then it wouldn't matter who held the office. The Congress was meant to be the strongest arm of the government and the president was meant to carry out the wishes of the Congress.

    1. I wish they would tell him to go play golf and not come to town, unless they have something for him to sign....and then never call him for something to sign.
