In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

No Big Soda Delivery on Pizza Night

The new law to take effect on March 12 in New York City means that a 2 liter bottle of soda can't be delivered with a take-out pizza.  Can you say ridiculous? Good, I knew you could.

  1. I don't know of a way to infuse enough disgust into this comment. Seriously this whole soda size ban is beyond ridiculous. They can't possibly be doing this out of concern for the health of New York citizens.

Do these law makers realize the pizza is just as bad for you as the soda? Not being able to get a 2 liter of soda with your pizza seems to me to exhibit the same kind of problem solving skills as people who are "on diets" and buy low fat brownies then eat the entire tray in one sitting.

Besides, I don't need my government telling me how big a portion of soda I should have. And that's really the problem, the State or the Fed has no place telling me what to eat, how much or when.
