I occasionally have to stop for a school bus. The law says I have to stop, or face terrible fines and a social stigma. It can be maddening to wait, especially when the kids take forever to wander from the bus.
We need a small, air-powered spring board to help them unload. They just walk to the door and "poof" they fly a few dozen feet away from the bus.
It's a good idea and I don't care what you think.
In Case You've Wondered
My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.
If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com
One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.
I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Well, you might not care what I think, but I'm gonna tell ya anyhow. I think your idea is pure D. Genius.
ReplyDeleteWatching the "kids" take their happy ass time leaving the buses is maddening. They have no respect for the people that are held up waiting for them to leave.
DeleteEven worse is when some *adult* stands there at the door and conferences with the school bus driver while everyone else cools their heels waiting.
DeleteGreat idea for the high-schoolers!
ReplyDeleteWith some of the high-school students I've seen, I'm thinking the spring board would need two air cylinders at least.
