In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Morning Laugh

I was talking to someone about their after work shopping to fill the lists given by teachers to his children. He wasn't happy about the list, the cost, and some of the idiosyncrasies of the teachers. He finally reached the point he used the term "libtard teachers"......I was surprised, and tickled. He usually doesn't have anything to say about politics, but it's now apparent he doesn't care much for the direction schools are following.

  1. Most folks don't care until it affects them personally - usually in the wallet. I know people who thought ObamaCare was just fine right up until they saw what it was going to cost them.

    1. Most people can't pay the price for ignorance, but are willing to damn near pawn their soul for a purchase.

    1. Thanks for the link. I read it, thought about it, and was glad I didn't have to suffer such an evening.

Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, appreciates what is given, if they don't appreciate the work required by those that gave selflessly. That type of person deserves nothing and should be forced to labor for their own survival. If they survive, they might appreciate the liberty of self-sufficiency and never allow gifts to appear as an entitlement.
