In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Bach Like You Never Heard It Before

The Piano Guys version, which I like.

  1. Love the cello but I probably wouldn't have listened to this 10 years ago. My appreciation started when my oldest of 3 boys took up the cello in middle school around 2000. I enjoyed his concerts as much or more than attending his brother's hockey games, and I LOVED those. Sadly, my eldest gave up the cello after high school and his brothers gave up playing hockey. I find that ever since, I pick out the cello in songs where i never knew it lived before.

    1. There's a Youtube video of a comedian talking about his youth, playing the cello and how much he hate the Canon in D Major.

I'll find it and post it. You''ll enjoy it.

  2. I give it an 8, Dick. Pretty cool music, but not much to dance too.

    1. I wonder if the contemporaries of Bach had dances, where he'd play and they'd be happy, like they were at a Chuck Berry concert.

    1. It is nice and he looks like he has a lot of fun, while creating his video.
