In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Viral Madness

Ebola is a virus; so is influenza; the common flu. The starting symptoms are similar and we're at the beginning of flu season. I have a feeling this one will go down in the books.

  1. O-N-E guy , just one , and a blind screaming panic on every blog. One guy from Africa that MIGHT have come in contact with 100 people, who MIGHT get Ebola , IF they escape lockdown, MIGHT spread a virus that IS NOT AIRBORNE. If it were the death toll would already be in the millions. A blind screaming rumor filled panic by bloggers who are ether addicted to doom porn or work for Obama, cause he's the ONLY one to benefit from a baseless panic.

    1. I guess you were born with the name "Anonymous". Don't feel alone. There are thousands just like you.

Ebola is nothing to play with. With a mortality rate of over half of those infected, speculation on how it really is spread, and the fact the symptoms are those of any virus, millions will be concerned; at least.

As far as condemning bloggers, you're blaming the wrong people. There were books, and movies, decades ago about the dangers. The only difference is the isolation of the infected was accepted as the best practice to prevent pandemic. Now, I'm thinking too many are more concerned about their political views. It's the current practice of those maddened by progressive thinking.

One other thing: A sneeze creates tiny particles that are airborne for hours. If it's so safe to be around someone with Ebola, you can be the first to stay in a room with one, without any protective clothing. Two to one, you'll pass on the opportunity.....and yeah, you're a dumbass. A nameless piece of puke shit that should find a bridge to hurl your worthless body from and save society the expense of keeping you alive.

    2. I remember being briefed by CDC officials in Washington DC in early October, 2001 that anthrax absolutely, positively could not be airborne transmitted. Within a month the government's fabricated claim was proven wrong by fatalities in postal facilities, since proven, irrefutably to have been airborne transmission. When CDC says something like a virus or spores, cannot be and is not airborne transmitted, it is lying pure and simple. I for one will get a flu shot this year, so if I am symptomatic I know it needs to be checked out pronto..

  2. Anon,
If there is one liar out there who lied about coming in contact with Ebola, there are dozens more. This man did not care about his family, so why would he care about the general public?

    1. The supposed threat of AGW is a ethereal threat of great concern with those that follow the narrative, yet they're willing to discard common sense to discount the actual threat of a pandemic that can kill half those that contract a disease.

  3. There are any number of soap boxes I could trample and still not say everything there is to say about how stupidly this Ebola business is being handled. But I am sure the regular readers here are already thinking along the same lines as myself.

Short of going to ground out at the farm until there seems to be a resolution to this outbreak there's no way to avoid the risk, being as I am going to college and am thrown daily into human traffic jams full of teens and twentysomethings who are only slightly better with their hygiene than your average toddler. But what better way for Obamaminions to cull the herd than by down playing the risks and ignoring the need for international border quarantines. The new regime theme song: "What the world needs now, is plague sweet plague..."

    1. Colleges are germ factories; just like any school. People bring pathogens from home, work and foreign countries.
