My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.
If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com
One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.
I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Boogie Woogie and Marcia Ball
Many haven't heard of Marcia Ball. She can make the house shake and is from my part of the world.
Look her up on the interwiz and find her music. I'm betting many of you'll like it and want some more.
Well, that woke me right up. She is fun to listen to and fun to watch. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteShe played the local clubs, including those right across the river, like "The Texas Pelican and Lou Ann's.
DeleteLegal age in Texas was 21, but you could go across the Sabine and enjoy a drink. You might even find somebody like George Jones, or Janis Joplin.
She was a favorite when she'd come north to Ypsilanti, also.
DeleteShe's a real jewel and doesn't receive the recognition she deserves.
