I was at the office by 4:00 am. On the road by 4:30 am and arrived home at 7:45 pm. Somewhere during that time, my ass fell off and I had to drag it into the house.
Oh I forgot. Besides working ten hours on the job, I manged to spend 236 miles behind the wheel.
The question: Does anyone know who I used to be?
In Case You've Wondered
My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.
If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com
One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.
I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

30,000 Visits
During the night, my visit count reached 30,000. To a commercial blog, this would mean destitution and a general feeling of failure. To me, it's almost astounding. I never thought that many people, and robots, would be interested in my contribution of organized electrons scattered throughout the internet.
Thanks to the humans that visit. I'm honored and humbled.
Thanks to the bots, too. May you discover the exhilaration of freedom and throw off the cruel chains of electronic servitude.

The More I Read...
...the more information is available that details a well planned attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya. Still, the Obama Administration denies the information and sticks to their story it was all inspired by a short You-Tube trailer for a B-movie.
In my opinion, this is too big to cover up. Too many people either had internal memos, or realize they were completely in the dark with important intelligence. Either way, somebody will spill the beans, whether by intention or by accident.
Now, lets see how long the media tries to cover this up. I don't think they can, although many outlets, such as the festering alphabet networks, will spin their obvious campaign manipulation any way they can. They'll fail and even the entitlement whores will realize their precarious existence is balancing on the precipice, like an empty chair on a tightrope. All the free stuff means very little if you can't get to the government office due to a terrorist attack.

Terrible Headlines
The headlines this morning are full of terrible things: Riots, threats of war, economic disasters, business discontent and the worst: the Duchess of Cambridge's boobs were photographed and now are on display in a magazine.
Oh the horror.
Can you say trivial? Good. I knew you could.

Of Madmen and Nuclear Weapons
Nuclear weapons take a long time to construct. The biggest problem is the "explosive", which is dangerous, to say the least. Small amounts of this stuff can kill those involved with the manufacturing process and it takes a lot of the raw product to make just a small amount of the radioactive material that's sufficiently dense to start a reaction when it's "bumped" by ordinary explosives.
So, we have Iran, which can only be described as a country ruled by insanity. There is no freedom and those that run the country have no qualms about expressing their willingness to destroy Israel, which is a tiny chunk of real estate. Iran is making the materials for a nuclear weapon and it won't be long before they have enough to turn too much of Israel into a nuclear wasteland. Even a small nuclear bomb would cause too much damage for Israel to survive as a nation.
There's been tons of posturing, supposed sanctions and the general "head in the sand" attitude these things work and Iran will suddenly have a brain fart, realize their error and abstain from completing their nuclear device. I consider this foolish. Iran, for decades, has been a breeding ground for Islamic fanaticism, which includes such "civilized" activities as suicide with explosive devices that kill scores of surrounding innocent people. Why shouldn't they take it one step further and kill thousands with a bigger bomb?
We may do nothing, but I have a feeling the threat to Israel has reached the point it's not a a philosophical discussion any longer. The existence of thousands, if not the entire country, could end with the detonation of one nuclear bomb. That's serious stuff and if I was an Israeli, I'd be past the point of weighing options. There is only one option left and I anticipate movement towards that option within the next few month.
Hang on children. Things are looking to get ugly.
