For that last week, the bots were swarming. At least half the visits were the little bastards; maybe more.
So far this week, they seemed to have wandered off to another section of the internet. If I could ever figure out to catch them, I'd never need to work again....except to build pens.
In Case You've Wondered
My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.
If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com
One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.
I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Busy, Busy Bots
The bots were busy today. How do I know? A huge amounts of visits to a post from two years ago.
Some I know are from commercial sites, but have the feeling some are up to bad things.

A Lot Of Bots
Bot visits seem to be in cycles. A long time passes, and only a few try to scale the walls, and then a crowd appears.
I've wondered why, then realized some programmer will come up with a new way to circumvent filters, sell the code and make a few bucks. After that, the bots find a way in for awhile.

Watching and Waiting
Over the last few days, I've had double the view of what I considered a good day. After perusing the outer perimeter, I realized it's due to bots.
In the past, bots would occasionally happen by, test the defenses and go on their way. I'd have days of peace.
Now, I realize they're amassing in a large group; waiting and hoping to find a weakness in the walls.
I hope I'm ready for their onslaught. The moat is full, the oils is heating and the arrow maker notified me he has reached maximum storage capacity.
I wait....the night will be long.

Bot Swarm
I had a bot swarm this morning. Damned if they didn't swarm and were gone before I could catch a few.
It looks like I'LL have to cut the yard.

BSOD
If you've ever tinkered with a computer that has one of those before Windows ever loads....and it tells you of a corrupted registry.....you know you're having a bad day at work.
I found the fix, but it's just another task that I really don't have time to do.

Pink Cornflakes with Toasted Edges
That's one hell of a title, right? It makes no sense, but bots love that kind of crap. I'm setting a trap, so I can catch a few. My mother's lawn needs cutting and I don't feel like it.
