In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

I'm Still Around

I may one day write about the last few months, and the few months ahead; but not right now. There are some raw emotions I'm still dealing with, and lots of work on a house.

I miss writing, but time limits thoughts to thoughts, and the written word as a future task. Eventually my life will settle down, and I'll have the time to either astound, confuse, irritate, or instigate a laugh.

I Didn't Listen to the Entire News Story

As I was leaving my truck, I heard a news story start, from a local radio station. It involved an arrest for assault, a flare gun, and a machete.

Now, I know many of you would want to sit awhile for the story to finish. After all the other news on the radio, I found I really wasn't interested, since Hillary is still lying, Congress is still a feckless group of opportunists, the President is still clueless, and a crazy man flew a loaded jet into a mountain.

Bleh!

Let's Go To The Beach...

...or not.

Not is it only ugly, it stinks and the stench is noticeable for miles inland.

I'm thinking some tourists are wishing they didn't go to Galveston this year.

As I was taking these photos, a Houston news station was setting up for a remote broadcast.

My Brain Is On Overload

Some people have brains that think in numbers. It's like the entire universe is nothing but another group of variables to crunch, rearrange and turn into mathematical equations.

My brain doesn't work that way. I'm thinking it has something to do with getting hit in the head during the fourth grade.

Anyway, I've spent a substantial part of the day calculation radius points from chords, figuring theoretical elevations after determining the percentage of fall and plotting the information, to load into my total station for a job start on Monday.

I think my brain is about to explode. If you hear a loud noise, you know what happened.

A Quick Post

I've been so busy, I haven't had time to write much. I have lot's on my mind and plan to write something as soon as possible, but for now, I'm only going to post a short thanks to all that visit my blog and spend some of the their time making the effort.

If your time is like my time, it's very precious and not to be considered of little value. Thanks for stopping by. Maybe things will slow down and I'll have more time to write.
