In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

The Part I Don't Like

Carter is dead, so now they'll try to immortalize a President that caused more harm than good. To me, the effort is damn near impossible, but there has to be at least one person that disagrees with me, other than one of his close relatives. May their task be light, and their BS thick. They'll need it. It's hard to shine up a turd.

  1. I have heard in the rumor control circles that he was side-lined for sub command due to a medical condition known as manic depression. Yet, he went to the White House and failed. Remember looking at homes during his era and seeing 16% mortgage rates?

    1. My small construction business folded when interest rates went up. Customers wanted the work done, but didn't want to pay for the high interest. With the fuel rationing added, it was a bad time for business.

  2. Carter is a lot like Biden in the sense that his awful track record made the Republican who came after him look much better by comparison. The idea that he might have been a decent human being doesn't alter the fact that he was a disaster as president.

    1. I don't think he was decent. That's what he portrayed and the media helped the charade continue.

    2. All I've heard is he started up Habitat for Humanity. I couldn't speak to his motives.

    1. I probably shouldn't have posted anything, but shining up his tarnished legacy with false praise is evil.

    1. I wonder how much accurate history will be recorded. The praises are nauseating.

  5. Carter wasn't a bad man. He WAS an incompetent politician. Unlike Pedo Joe who is both evil AND bereft of meaningful accomplishments. At least he died knowing he was no longer the WORST President to hold office. He shuffled off to his reward in 3rd place, behind Obama the SCOAMF and Pedo Joe who will likely hold the number one spot as worst for a very very long time.
