In Case You've Wondered
My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.
If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com
One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.
I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

The Bots Must Be Resting
Yesterday, I had what I consider a healthy visitor count, which I can have, now and then, but few were bots. I think they're resting, which makes me wonder what they're up to now. I probably should go check the windows and doors.
Changing Weather
The last few days have brought light fog, temperatures in the low 70's and hazy afternoons with highs in the low 90's. It's close to a typical transitional weather event, except it's been a little warmer.
This morning, there's a feel of a change in the weather. I can't really pinpoint the change, but there's less humidity, which makes it feel cooler and the dew is lighter.
The weather's changing. I'll go look at the weather forecast, but I know it will say the weather is changing. I can feel it and the change will be welcome.

Smart Phones and an Apology
I tried to use your smart phone. It wasn't a good idea, and I'm sorry I screwed up your menus.
Software Penalties
I use various software packages at work, but generally they're the standard Microsoft Office products, which they change at will. You figure something out, get used to it, they change the operating system, update their product and you have to learn the bells and whistles once again.
So, with the amount of time I have to spend learning the new package, I think software company executives should be responsible by wearing a shock collar that's connected to the internet. When I get frustrated, they get a jolt. When they change the entire format, menus and make it exasperating to use the software, I get up to 30 seconds on the button - just to get their attention.
Now, you might be thinking this might not work out, but I can guarantee the executives would be more receptive to their customers and not so inclined follow the advice of people that only think in bells and whistles. I know I would enjoy learning new software and I'd bet it wouldn't take as long.

Trouble in Food Paradise
The new big push for kids to eat healthier diets, at a higher cost, is being met with resistance by students. They don't like the food, some refuse to eat it and there's a black market of food contraband being exploited by the entrepreneurs in some schools. Otherwise, they're telling Michelle, and the rest of the food Nazis, to go suck an organic egg.
Wolverines!
According to a news report, the Obama children have pizza on the menu today at their school, which is exempt from regular school mandates because they're special.
