In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Polls and Fact

The better of the pollsters show that it's a statistical tie between Romney and Obama. Considering the effort by many in the media to manipulate the data in the favor of Obama, all of their efforts only show Obama is losing and the final result will show a larger shift towards Romney.

Time will tell, but the media has failed to do their job. It's now our job to expose the bias, and  refuse to participate, by stopping watching their broadcasts and intentionally avoiding products advertised on media outlets that are obviously outlets for progressive propaganda. Things will never change until this happens.

Why Didn't All People Evacuate?

It's expensive to evacuate. First, you lose money because you're not working. The extra fill up, or two of gas is well over a hundred dollars. The hotel room, if you can find one, is another unplanned expense. Food is expensive.

Another thing: Unless you live a rural area, the authorities may not let you return home. Now, you not only have the evacuation expense, there's the added expense of living away from home, if you have such a place and can afford it. Your life is in limbo. You can't survey the damage, start the process of repairing, and the authorities really don't care how hard it is. They have theirs and the taxpayers pay for it.

So, some people don't evacuate, and they're most likely the ones that will need help when it's all over. To make matters worse, the current economy created more of the people that really just can't evacuate. So, you can add something else to the fiasco of the current administration. They not only created a horrible economic situation, they've given people few choices at a time when choices are important.

I Think It's Best to Boycott Nevada....

...until they get rid of Harry Reid. He's a wart on the ass of progress.

This Won't Get Your Electricity Restored

In Bridgeport, Connecticut, utility workers pulled out, after being abused by residents and even pelted with eggs.  The mayor, who made a public statement accusing the provider of taking care of wealthy customers first, will now have to provide police protection for the workers, or they won't come back.

Now, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but it seems to me it's somewhat counterproductive to chase off the crews that were in YOUR town and working on YOUR electrical service. Then again, I've don't know anything about Bridgeport and the citizens might have come down with a bad case of the dumbass.

Meanwhile

In Rome New York City, the games must go on - no matter who has to suffer.  Between that, hungry dumpster diving citizens and the red tape preventing relief workers from entering areas to help, I'd say the progressive/democrat machine is in the ditch. If there's any undecided voters still on the fence, you have to be about as dumb as a basket of carrots not to have found your answer. If you vote for a continuation of this madness, you don't have my sympathy.

Oh yeah, Obama is back in Vegas, playing the blackjack tables campaigning.
