In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Lack of Leadership

It appears the military has lost their leaders. Nobody has the cojones to tell the pogues to pound sand and stay out of the way. You can see this lack of leadership with the current banter between Tucker Carlson and those that supposedly represent the brass. How this turns out will be seen, but in the past, someone would be busted back to a low enlisted rate, and find their future in the military shorter than they expected.

    1. I doubt combat Marines have much to say about what the support staff have time to create. If I had to guess their feelings, they feel most are worthless and unnecessary.

  4. there are a few but at bird colonel level. to make general you have to declare party affiliation by hosting fundraisers such. one such colonel refused 4 illegal orders in writing during the d.c. thing. he also got into an armed confrontation w/ dc popo trying to arrest one of his troops. the "vetting " had flagged the troop and pelosi told dc popo to arrest him. she forgot to read the part about troops not being subject to arrest or detention while on orders. she also demanded ammo for crew served weps in violation of same regs. colonel refused, so they did an end-around and got the ammo. now its lost. 500,000 rounds gone poof. hot time in the district this summer.

    1. Those in the military took any oath to protect the United States. I think those with honor should refuse orders that contradict their task, and uphold the Constitution by whatever means necessary.

  5. I blame the geezers Jess. Hell's bells, Biden is staggering around the Whitehouse and doesn't know where he is. Pelosi should be in a home cheating at cards. Feinstein should be at the embalmer's.

That isn't leadership. That is weakness putting on a show, and sooner or later some will see through it - someone who knows how to wield and project power - and it will be all over. History has seen mighty empires washed way time and time again just this way.

    1. This administration is filled with what a healthy society would call the dregs. Equal Opportunity efforts promoted the unqualified to positions they never would have achieved by merit.

    2. i still say they are getting Chinese organs or adrenochrome or something to keep them alive. look at ol joe. staggering and muttering one day, giving a semi coherent but glassy-eyed speech the next. drugs, man. and Nadler? how the hell has he not heartastroked out by now? Pelosi looks like that alien roach that stole the farmer's skin in men in black. every once in a while she has to pull it back around to where her eyes are.
