In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Here We Go Again

In theory, the new year starts something new, bright and fruitful. In reality, it's only changing the last few numbers when writing down a date. Hopefully, this year will be remembered as one of the best in recorded history.

  1. Wish in one hand , shit in the other , see which one fills up first. I'm a pessimist, sorry.

    1. I vacillate between being a pessimist and a realist. My hope is the pendulum starts the harsh swing in the other direction, career politician's careers are stacked like cordwood, and Jeffrey Epstein's flight log puts the subterfuge into perspective.

  2. Hope is not a strategy. It would be nice if things improved this year. Smart money says that's not happening. Best to plan for more of what 2023 brought. Because that's what the criminals in power have planned for us.

    1. Hope is part of the anticipation the strategy of defeating an enemy is working. It can't be depended on, but helps in clarifying an objective.

    1. Biden is the epitome of a fuck-up. In no other aspect of society would he be anything more than a fired janitor at a porn theater.
