In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Eyes Closed

I've been reading about the invading family children current crisis for the last few days. From what I understand, parents of these children (which are many times not the parents) are separated from the children, when the statutes demand the children are released. After the release, they may be sent to a federal funded day care facility for me to help finance.

Invading a country without permission is not allowed in most countries. In some, they shoot you at the border. It's what keeps a country, and its citizens, sovereign from other nations. Promoting such, or ignoring the laws, is sedition, or treason.

So, if you haven't quite figured this out, scale down the size, and imagine a Guatemalan family knocking on your front door, demanding asylum, and expecting you to allow them to stay, while paying their expenses. I know what I would do, and have a strong feeling over 95% of all people would to the same.

  1. The politicians can whine all they want to about children separated from parents, but if the parents had not brought them here illegally, breaking our laws in the process, there wouldn't be a problem. It is called consequences for actions - something many don't care about anymore unless it fits into a political agenda. (climbing off soapbox now)

    1. The Obama Administration advertised admittance without consequence in direct conflict with existing laws. While the alphabet networks want the public to believe these invaders are refugees, they're not. They're opportunists that spent a substantial amount of their money in the hope they wouldn't be caught.

  2. Ship them all back to where they illegally came from!! I am so tired of the "young" people feeling sorry for those who are illegal! If we allow the illegals it demeans those who have followed the rules!!

    1. I don't see the same sympathy for those wrongly accused of rape, or bullied by crowds at the so called protests. They're terrorists, secessionists and traitors.

    1. That would prevent the enemies of the United States from invading.

  4. Also, a reminder for Mexico. Invasions can go TWO ways. We've already been on a Mexican vacation twice, we might be convinced to stay longer seeing all of that undeveloped beach front properties.
