Joe Manchin, in an act of complete stupidity, managed to destroy his political career, is now completely untrustworthy by both parties, and is the newest pariah. He's the epitome of politicians. You can't trust any of them, they're usually worthless in any other endeavor, and a less polite society would have many hanging from trees.
Now we'll get a Republican in that states.
ReplyDeleteReplacement will be good, but the Republican needs to be a Constitutionalist; and not one that thinks the Constitution is a "living, breathing document". There is a legal method to change the Constitution, and it involves a lot more people than a few Congress critters or a judge.

Deletejoe is the last Democrat that WV will ever produce into national politics. He would have been smarter to jump ship about four years ago.
ReplyDeleteWest Virginia has some working folks that might not allow Manchin to enjoy his retirement. It's a fitting retirement, and the smart ones will determine new ways to make him miserable.
