In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Strange Day

Today, for some reason, many commercial sites, and foreign language sites, decided to visit my blog. The tally is around 2100, which is around half for a normal month.

I don't know what caused the visitors, but if you're really a human, thanks for coming by to visit my tiny corner of the world.

  1. I entertained revenue at one time. After a little research, I realized my few visitors wouldn't lead to enough money to make the effort worthwhile.

  2. I had something like that happen to me a couple of years ago. It started with a site in Germany, that was related to a Polish site. Some of the other people I communicate with on the web told me it was some sort of scam associated with pumping up the numbers on a blog and advertising. But since I don't advertise, I couldn't figure out why they would do that to me. I emailed the Polish outfit, which had their own web page, and asked them to take me off their list, and the problem went away.

    1. It only lasted one day. So, now it's back to normal, and they probably didn't make dime.
