In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

I Won't Watch

The Super Bowl is this evening. I won't watch. Even if I was a big football fan, I still wouldn't watch. I have family members that will watch, and peruse their smartphones, with all the social media complaints about how the country is in dire straits, and never realize they are contributing to the downfall.

  3. I have not watched this year and will not watch the NFL again.

Between the cry baby overpaid morons who expect to be treated as gods or something as well as the 2 National Anthem BS, I had already dumped them in my mind.

Give the idiots credit though. first they alienate folks like me then Goodell doubles down with his "we have to somehow recognize Krapernick for his leadership in point out the horrible disparity their is in this country"

Good job roger. Give cudos to an avowed anit-American Che loving socialist. The NFL can bite me!

    1. I forgot who, but someone I know once mentioned the number of people without a job, if the NFL went under. My new answer is they need to go build solar panels.

  4. For years I have referred to it as the "Super Stupid Bowl"! As I see it, it is an excuse to get together with friends to over-eat junk food and over-indulge in alcohol. Just NOT my thing...CW

    1. My father wasn't a big fan, so I never was. Over time, after years of watching those that love to watch the game, my thought is that I'm not missing anything.

  5. I have not watched any NFL games in over 20 years; not planning to start again.
The NFL has to run out of money sooner or later. They cannot keep paying the outlandish salaries to these clowns without full stadiums.

    1. I expect to see the teams trying to panhandle money from the cities that support them. Since the cities are large, and too much of the population is relatively ignorant, I expect a special tax to keep financing the madness.

    2. they have been for years. the racket is they threaten to leave the city unless the city builds a new stadium. then they cry that they may fold up n leave that new multi zillion dollar stadium empty, which the city still owes money on. so pony up city folk, whether you watch sportzball or not.

  6. Good for you, guys!

Half of those black baboons are wife beaters, druggies, and psychopaths that want to play politics rather than sports.

    1. There was a time when the coaches kept the low-lifes out of the league. Not any more, and they seem to concentrate on the players with the worst of spare baggage.

  7. Anyone watching this game needs to retake Psy101, and pay special attention to the part where we learn you get more of what you reinforce.
