In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Living in a Large City...

...is dangerous, criminals have more rights than victims, and the biggest cities in Texas are some of the worst. Arming yourself may help, but with the criminal AG's, corrupt politicians, and hand-tied law enforcement, protecting yourself may be one of the worst things you ever did.

  1. this is the katrina dividend. thousands of thugs were dropped off in houston and dallas after the hurricane/flood. they immediately took over the drug trade and criminal enterprise. they ate texas crims for lunch and police were not ready for that large of an increase in crime. they changed the culture of those areas. not we reap the whirlwind.

    1. The Harris Country D.A. of Houston releases criminals that shouldn't be released. Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and El Paso have similar problems, and the surrounding areas are constantly at threat due to the criminal activity.

The Katrina evacuees guaranteed those that welcomed them would never allow hurricane evacuees to stop in their cities again.

    1. Yes. Crime is becoming less of a liability for criminals in large cities, and victims have little recourse for justice.
