In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Fifteen Inches and Probably More

According to the NOAA precipitation totals, somewhere between 15 and 20 inches of rain have fallen in my locality. That's very much, and more forecast to come.

We have a little break in the rain, so I'll venture out to see the results.

  1. My wife and I watched several news channels reporting on Harvey today. Looked pretty grim in terms of damage, especially those areas hit by tornadoes. I feel for those folks, losing your home is hard to recover from.

    1. It's one of those things were people are relieved to be alive, and know how hard things will be for a long time.
