In Case You've Wondered

My blog is where my wandering thoughts are interspersed with stuff I made up. So, if while reading you find yourself confused about the context, don't feel alone. I get confused, too.

If you're here for the stories, I started another blog: scratchingforchange.blogspot.com

One other thing: sometimes I write words you refuse to use in front of children, or polite company, unless you have a flat tire, or hit your thumb with a hammer.

I don't use them to offend; I use them to embellish.

Behind the Curtains

The fighting in Ukraine is business as usual for somebody. There are tremendous fortunes to make off the unfortunate people that are killed, and if we had leaders - and a media - not in fear of their personal fortunes, those involved with this current deception would be exposed. Behind the curtains are always those that reap the benefits of war, and the manipulation of economies. Unfortunately, most of our politicians, and most of the media, are in their back pockets.

  1. soros and schwaab make much of their money manipulating markets and currency exchanges. i believe this is them trying to crash the ruble, somehow making money off it, and taking down the last anti-globalist along with it.

    1. Soros manipulates elections, economies and the news. He has more whores than all the brothels in the world combined.

  2. There is a legitimate element of national security here too. NATO has been slowly encroaching on Russia and putting more and more troops and weapons on their borders - something NATO swore they would never do.

But yep - it is mostly about money and gas and oil. I don't get it. The libs were all about how awful it was for Halliburton and Chimpy McHitler should not be fighting with Iraqis about oil... but now they are prepared to start WW3 over it in the Ukraine. The mind wobbles.

    1. People like to stay comfortably ignorant. It helps them to rationalize their lack of civic responsibility, and keeps them from losing their favorite television program.

From what I've read, NATO basically pissed on Putin's leg, and tried to tell him it's raining.

    2. Yep, and now they are whizzing on Zelensky. They enable and encourage him to poke and prod that Russian Bear, telling him they will have his back if the Bear snaps - and now he needs a no-fly zone and NATO and the US just shrug. Surprise surprise - the Bidens he bought... did not stay 'bought'. Sorry about your luck, Ukes, thanks for coming out!

The oligarchs will make out like bandits as you say... but for everyone else things will get very, very nasty...

  3. It's the Great Game, again. Who can get more stuff. Plus, there is fear of Europe being tied economically to Russia . . .

    1. Europe needs what Russia has, and like in the past, hates the fact. It's a modern version of the past.
