All politicians receive favors, whether it's insider trading on millions in stock, or a few hundred dollars of Girl Scout cookies. They all know this, refuse to clean up their profession, and only make a stink, when the illegal gains are egregious. Even then, they gnash their teeth, profess their honesty, and the other law breakers skate on any prosecution.
If integrity was salt with politicians, there wouldn't be enough to salt a fried flea.
If you or I did what Hunter Biden did, we'd be in jail. He won't even be indicted. Simple as.
ReplyDeleteThey threw people under the jail for daring to protest what time has shown was an illegal election certification. They're playing a dangerous game with a nation of strong, armed citizens.

I can't see it going on much longer, Jess. Up here in Canada the political opposition parties don't even pretend to oppose anyone anymore. It's just the Uniparty now.
ReplyDeleteThe economy won't sustain the inflation. That, and people will default on notes that take too much of their income. With the governments operating on borrowed money, there won't be an relief from that direction. The solution will be economic hardship on those most vulnerable....and it won't be rotten members of the government.
